Three Shot, One Dead in Lithonia

One teen is dead and two others are in critical condition following a shooting in Lithonia.

A 16-year-old shot in Lithonia Tuesday morning has died, and two other teenagers were critically injured.
 
Residents told WSB TV the 16-year-old was left bleeding in a yard on Browns Mill Ferry Drive after the shooting around 3:15 a.m. Tuesday. The man police detained as a possible shooter lives across the street.
 
Two other victims are in critical condition.

When police officers arrived, they found three people in or near a car in the middle of the street.

DeKalb Police Capt. Stephen Fore told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that two other teenagers, are in critical condition. Their names have not been released.

Fore said detectives were interviewing a “person of interest,” but have not determined a motive for the shooting.

No charges have been filed and no names have been released.
