Thousands Participate in DeKalb's National Night Out
NNO is an annual initiative that rolls out in neighborhoods all over the country to unite residents against crime.
DeKalb County Interim CEO Lee May and the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners toured a multitude of locations throughout DeKalb County on Aug. 6, to promote crime prevention initiatives during National Night Out.
Thousands participated in NNO activities across DeKalb County in various grassroots effort to promote involvement in crime prevention activities, police-community partnerships, and neighborhood camaraderie.
Prevention programs include neighborhood watch groups, law enforcement agencies, state and regional crime prevention associations, businesses, civic groups, and individuals devoted to safer communities.
