Teenage Girl, Man Shot At Birthday Party

Injuries called non-life-threatening.

DeKalb County police are looking for the person who shot and wounded a teenaged girl and a man early Sunday morning at a birthday party in unincorporated Stone Mountain.

The man and girl were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to WSB-TV. The TV station reported that

At about 12:30 a.m., police swarmed a home on Arbor Hill Drive, which residents described as a typically quiet neighborhood in DeKalb County.

So far, investigators have not released many details, but Channel 2's Erica Byfield did learn the double shooting happened at the birthday party of a neighborhood teenager.

Investigators have not yet released a motive or the name of a suspected shooter, but they are looking for the driver of a dark-colored car that left the area immediately after the shooting.
