Stolen Debit Used at Pizza Places, Footlocker

Inside the Police Reports: Last month's reported theft added up to nearly $900 in charges on a Stone Mountain-Gwinnett man's card.

A man in unincorporated Stone Mountain in Gwinnett County told police his debit number was stolen, and the suspect rang up $887.74 in charges at pizza places -- sometimes twice in one day -- as well as at Footlocker and other establishments.

Most of the time, the number was used for what appear to be prepaid wireless purchases.

The out-of-state charges were made over ten days last month according to the police report. Of the 19 times the number was used, eight were at Domino's, Papa John's, and Gionnino's Pizzeria (which is listed in Mansfield Ohio on the police report). There were also transactions at places with Wisconsin, California and Virginia addresses.
