Robbery Reported at Biffle Park

DeKalb police say man was not injured.

A man told DeKalb County police that he was robbed while walking at Biffle Park in unincorporated Stone Mountain on April 9.

Police responded to the victim in the 1600 block of Hidden Hills Parkway in reference to a robbery by force.

The man, 22, said while walking at Biffle Park, three unknown black males approached him, according to the police report. The incident happened between 2:30-2:45 p.m.

The suspects asked the man to stop and talk with them; he told police he ignored them and continued walking.

The victim said one black male with dreadlocks came up to him, pushed him on the ground, snatched the silver necklace he was wearing; another black male in a red hat took his phone from his hand, according to the police report.

The man, who had no injuries, told police that after the suspects took his belongings, they ran up the road.

According to the report, the cell phone was valued at $60, the necklace at $40.
