Report: Man Struck, Killed by DeKalb Police
Early Tuesday incident happened on Memorial Drive near West Mountain Street, WSB says.
WSB says a pedestrian was struck and killed by a DeKalb county police officer early Tuesday morning on Memorial Drive near West Mountain Street.
A witness told the television station that he saw the man jaywalking toward a gas station when the incident occurred, after midnight. The witness told WSB the police cruiser was going 70 or 80 miles per hour without lights or sirens.
Authorities have not released the name of the driver or pedestrian, WSB said.
