Report: Drive-by Shooting Kills Man in Lithonia
A 26-year-old man was found dead Monday night in Phillips Court.
A drive-by shooting in Lithonia Monday night claimed the life of a man, police say. Leland Sims, 26, was shot by suspects who fled the area.
He was found dead in the front yard of a house in the 6300 block of Phillips Court, WSB reports. Several houses on the street were riddled with bullets as a result of the gunfire.
“Currently we do not have a motive or know what started the gunfire,” said Capt. Steven Fore of the DeKalb Police Department. “Detectives are currently working this case attempting to locate and interview witnesses and develop more information.”
