Police: Spilled Drink Led to Shooting

Police say argument started inside "Jay's Place" club.

DeKalb County police said an argument over a spilled drink led to a shooting early Saturday that sent four people to local hospitals.

Police said the argument happened inside the club , 4808 Redan Rd., in unincorporated Stone Mountain because a drink spilled. The argument continued outside in the parking lot after the club closed, police said.Β 

Two subjects in a dark colored vehicle shot into a crowd standing on the sidewalk, police said in a release about the incident, which happened around 3:50 a.m. Saturday.

Police said two adult males who were involved in the initial argument and two adult females who were innocent bystanders were shot. They were taken to area hospitals. There is no word on their condition.
