Police Issue Composite Sketch of Indecency Suspect
The man may be connected to other attempted sexual assaults, police say.
The Special Victim’s Unit of DeKalb's Police Department has developed a composite sketch of a man involved in a public indecency act that occurred on June 6 at the intersection of Covington Highway and Mercer Drive.
Detectives say a woman was sitting at a bus stop at 11:45 p.m. when the suspect approached and tried to engage her in conversation. When she turned to respond, she observed him committing a sexual act.
The woman fled and called police. They searched the area with help from a K-9 unit but were unable to find him.

Detectives believe the same man may be involved in two previous attempted sexual assaults that occurred nearby, both at the Marquis Ridge apartment complex, on May 31 and on June 3 of this year. In both cases, a man entered an apartment through an open window and committed sexual acts in front of women.
