Police: Half-Dressed Woman Lied To, Cussed At Officers

DeKalb County police charged a 46-year-old woman, wearing only a T-shirt and boots, with indecent exposure, giving a false name, address and birthdate, and disorderly conduct.

Police responded to a “person down” call Sept. 27 at 7:20 a.m. in the 900 block of Park Gate Place in unincorporated Stone Mountain on Sept. 27. Paramedics who were already on the scene said that a white female was sleeping on the ground and not wearing pants or underwear.

The report states that she was wearing a red T-shirt and brown leather boots and was “fully exposed from the waist down.”

Another officer at the scene tried to cover her with a red blanket; the woman refused, and said “I hate you b------” according to the report.

When asked, she provided a name and birthdate that would have made her age 14. Then she became angry and started yelling profanity-laced comments at the officers, the report states.

Meanwhile, according to the report, kids were walking by on their way to school.

The report states that the woman told the officers she didn’t provide her real name.

The officer then informed her that she was under arrest for disorderly conduct and the other offenses. She was put in a police vehicle. Once inside, she kicked the side doors and screamed profanities, according to the report. Soft leg restraints were placed on her.

She was taken to the DeKalb County Jail where she was identified using fingerprints.
