Hopefully, Plant Theft Won't Grow

City of Stone Mountain police chief spoke briefly about pilfered plants during his report to the city council this week.

Stone Mountain city's police chief Chancey Troutman alerted people to thieves' latest shenanigans, sometimes against the elderly, during his report to the city council on Tuesday at its work session.

"They've been stealing plants," Troutman said. The pilfered plants are then sold for a few dollars, he said.

So, folks should guard their gardens.
