Two Shot Outside DeKalb Restaurant

Woman shot in head as police are searching for one or more suspects connected to the parking lot shooting near Stone Mountain.

DeKalb County police are investigating a Monday afternoon shooting in an unincorporated DeKalb restaurant parking lot that left two injured and authorities searching for one or more suspects.

According to police, at approximately 3 p.m., a woman was shot in the head and a man in the hand, outside the U.S. Deli in the Rockbridge Place Shopping Center located at 5723 Rockbridge Road near Stone Mountain.

Both victims were taken to an area hospital and their condition is unknown at this time. The female's injury was not expected to be life-threatening according to a WSB TV report.
