One man was killed and another man and a woman were critically injured in a shooting at the Colony of Stone Mountain apartment complex in unincorporated Stone Mountain.
A man who was holding two children and a woman hostage near the crime scene has been arrested, DeKalb police said. He is charged with murder, aggravated assault and kidnapping.
Police officers who were responding to a domestic disturbance call found the three victims at 2:20 Wednesday morning. The victims were taken to a hospital.
The dead man is believed to be in his 20s, police said in a statement. He wasn't identified in the release.
