Incident happened Monday morning on Old Tucker Road.

Gwinnett County police officers were involved in a shooting at 1085 Old Tucker Rd. on Monday morning in unincorporated Stone Mountain.

Christopher Kenney, who GCPD's Cpl. Jake Smith said was "somebody that we've been looking for for a while," and who had been previously arrested, was shot and killed during the incident.

So - I tell the truth and my post gets deleted? Nice freedom of speech. No officer WANTS to kill another...but to protect themselves and the public it becomes necessary. Until you are put in that position you will never know. I pray you never do...but officers go out every day taking that chance for you.
Concerned Citizen February 06, 2012 at 08:21 PM
Maybe you should check the records. I believe that was Lawrenceville P.D.
Robert Higgins February 07, 2012 at 10:15 PM
@ Concerned Citizen Your post being deleted is nothing new, they have the "right" to take down comments if someone finds it "offense". The Occupy Gwinnett facebook page deleted posts by a young girl that repeatedly stated "OCCUPY GWINNETT RUINED MY LIFE"! So even Ms. Occupy Stormi bans comments she doesn't like.
Deborah Storm March 02, 2012 at 03:50 AM
great attitude andy luck...omg.....i guess u dont mind that child molesters and murderers get better treatment than a person who is just simply standing there like scott olsen? there is a child molester two time convicted working at walmart...in stone mtn gwinnett county, does anyone care? no, all most gwinnett citizens care about is their money.
Deborah Storm March 02, 2012 at 03:51 AM
gary to do what is right is to stand up for everyones rights. kenney was violated on that date jan 23, 2012 by the police. a police uniform doesn't make u not a criminal..some are some are not.
Deborah Storm March 02, 2012 at 03:52 AM
u define what is right by knowing the facts, not the speculation developed by the police only.
Deborah Storm March 02, 2012 at 04:02 AM
hmm Robert...wonder why there are criminal defense attorneys? could it be cuz the officers don't always tell the truth? u think that is part of it? there are many of us who care about our rights. even criminals have rights. I have no criminal history but since i have a legal background, i am very interested in cases like this.
Deborah Storm March 02, 2012 at 04:07 AM
Andy, HOME OF THE FREE AND THE BRAVE, USA.....Georgia included...what makes u think that people from Louisiana are a problem? we are built on freedom in this country. freedom to live where we want.
Gary Fox March 02, 2012 at 12:56 PM
Deborah, there's no need to continue to prove your mental status to everyone reading this post.
Andy Luick March 02, 2012 at 01:24 PM
How do you know the facts more than any of us? Were you there? People like you disgust me....you stomping up and down mad for a criminal with a long rap sheet who OBVIOUSLY wanted to die....and did us all a favor by doing so. It's simple...police say stop....that's what it means.....attempt to harm them with your car...and...DUH....you get shot probably multiple times and probably surrender your life. This guy more than likely knew what he was doing and chose to get snuffed rather than go to prison....I applaud his final performance.
Robert Higgins March 07, 2012 at 10:26 PM
Ms. Deborah Storm: You do realize that a legal secretary certificate from a paper mill / trade school from 20 years ago does not qualify as a "legal background". Please provide us your credentials and examples from all the high profile criminal defense cases you have won. Do not ignore this request for information like you selectively do with other posts. We are all awaiting to hear about the stellar legal scholar you claim to be.
Robert Higgins March 07, 2012 at 10:31 PM
Ms. Deborah Storm comes back over a month later to reply to posts. I really think Occupy Gwinnett is the only thing in her life. Very disturbing.
Robert Higgins March 07, 2012 at 10:58 PM
I am begininning to wonder if Ms. Deborah Storm was intimately involved with Christopher Kenney. She appears to be very obsessed with his demise and continues to come back weeks later and to post ramblings and garbled information. She is just looking for someone to blame while she wallows in grief and guilt. It is obvious Ms. Storm will never be satisfied with any outcome in this investigation. She obviously knows more than the rest of us and is smarter than the police. Her superior attitude is disturbing, to say the least.
Deborah Storm March 14, 2012 at 04:31 AM
trade school? you must be kidding, one of my teachers was Judge Carla Brown from Gwinnett County Justice Ctr...it was an in person school..thanks Robert for your failure to figure things out.
Deborah Storm March 14, 2012 at 04:32 AM
lol i dont have to prove anything Gary.
Robert Higgins March 14, 2012 at 02:21 PM
Thank you for ignoring the post where I suggested Kenney was your boyfriend. Pretty much confirms your intimate involvement with him and why you are repeatedly upset over his inevitable demise. Maybe you should take some refresher courses regarding the criminal justice system. Since you are not licensed, you have no standing or merit as a legal adivisor of any sort. I will be sure to forward to Judge Brown that you are using her name as a reference. Your documented verbal disgust for her husband will amuse her too!
Deborah Storm March 15, 2012 at 04:46 AM
u are way off base Robert. boyfriend? no. Judge Brown will not deny that she was my teacher in paralegal school becuz she was. so why do u care? and btw I am also interested in the outcome of the Dawntrae Williams case. I am sure you have nothing good to say about that case either..police are always right, right? Good luck in your quest for nonsense
Deborah Storm March 15, 2012 at 04:47 AM
btw Robert...I am confident that Judge Brown honors freedom of speech like every American should
Robert Higgins March 15, 2012 at 12:15 PM
Apologies. Boyfriend is the wrong label, 'friends with benefits' is a more accurate description of your relationship with Kenney. Judge Brown did not deny that you were a student. No Comment from her speaks loud and clear of what she thinks of you. Especially for the hate you spew about her husband. 4.0 in secretarial school? Hardly something to brag about since you know Zero about the law and communicate like a high school drop out.
Robert Higgins March 15, 2012 at 12:23 PM
The good Judge most certainly does honor freedom of speech. Sheriff Conway does as well. I too think freedom of speech is a cherished right of all people. Deborah Storm, you most certainly can keep running your mouth and let your right to speak sound loud and clear! That right to speak is making an absolute fool of yourself and the laughingstock of Gwinnett. Keep up the good work Deborah Storm, your freedom of speech is your downfall! Good luck in your quest for respect.
Deborah Storm March 16, 2012 at 03:55 PM
becuz i ask the tough questions Andy. obviously u didn't
Deborah Storm March 16, 2012 at 04:01 PM
Robert, I was never looking for respect from you or anyone else. But btw, the police in Gwinnett have shown me nothing but respect since Occupy began.so go figure why u feel the way you do! and as far as Judge Brown, stating , no comment..that is her right...that means she doesn't want to get involved....dontcha think she is a little busy? OMG...and without paralegals what what lawyers do? they need them. and it was not "secretarial school" as you state. it was paralegal school....i was not bragging, i was stating facts as you had indicated it was just a trade school, and it was not. as far as Sheriff Conway, i have not "spewed" hate....my gosh, he has enough respect that he doesn't "spew "hate on me. opinions are very different than hate. you are confused. i do know alot about the law Robert. i have spent many hours on research not just about these cases, when i was working for an attorney and in paralegal school. and some of the best people who know alot about the law are what are considered "jail house" lawyers......check it out sometime. you are way off base. and btw...friends with benefits is utterly stupid...nothing of the sort..and just what do u think is the issue on why i am working the dawntrae williams case too? do u think there was a relationship there? LOL..OMG....are you stalking me Robert? u sure think u have all the answers. u might want to back up and figure out your own life and waste of time you have on me.
Deborah Storm March 16, 2012 at 04:06 PM
wallow in grief and guilt of what? smarter than the police? what? there are good and bad officers in every dept that i am aware of. i never said i was smarter than anyone. you are very sick to come to the conclusions that you do. you seem to be obsessed with me. u need to stop.
Deborah Storm March 16, 2012 at 04:06 PM
my objective is to get the truth from the cases, not look for respect or popularity
Deborah Storm March 16, 2012 at 04:08 PM
really Gary? who said i was? where do u see that?
Tammy Osier April 29, 2012 at 09:10 PM
When I first read this, I saw 63 comments and thought, "Must be a great discussion" until I saw the same name over and over. It's a pattern with some people; have to argue over everything (whether significant or not). Facts are not needed and an ability to call names rather than actually answer a question with an answer that doesn't attack will never happen. Why do some of you waste your time? Let's see...threats, known to be armed, known runner, burglary among many. if you (criminal) don't do these things you won't find yourself in a standoff. Simple. How do you make "excuses" for someone who puts themselves in this position constantly? Common sense says you don't.
DEBORAH STORM May 26, 2012 at 03:20 AM
i did the research Tammy, you are looking at comments by people who did not. I have background checks on the officers at this scene, not looking good for them. Also, do you really think all officers tell the truth? the facts in the case are much different than told by the video you see and the story. If you think Gwinnett Co PD is totally honest nowadays, check the latest report of the officer arrested today in GWINNETT.

Experts say Copwatch.com’s ‘Crucial Reforms’ MUST be adopted Policework is NOT a dangerous job, according to Federal statistics The cops’ ‘Blue Wall of Silence’ is like the Mafia’s code of ‘Omerta’ Our police department ranks among the worst in the nation The Police Union fights to prevent police accountability We need, but do not have, a REAL ‘Citizen’s Review Board’ Most police officers are uneducated and dangerously undertrained Cops have more in common with criminals than with normal citizens

High IQ applicants are rejected by the Police Academy Cops habitually lie to, deceive, and mislead innocent citizens

http://www.dcor.state.ga.us/GDC/OffenderQuery/jsp/OffQryRedirector.jsp ....look for Stryker, Jeff.....he has 30 yr prison sentence..u think he was a reliable source of info that the person killed, Kenney, was armed with a gun? that is what he said, and they bought it hook line and sinker at gwinnett pd . he was not armed.
