No Injuries in Hugh Howell Road House Fire
Authorities are investigating what caused Friday's blaze.
A fire at a house on Hugh Howell Road around noon Friday caused severe damage but no reported injuries, a county spokesman told Patch.
The residence, near Rosser Road, was " heavily involved on arrival," Capt. Eric Jackson said. "The flames intensified and two additional engines were called."
Jackson said it's not clear if the house was vacant or occupied, "but we haven't found anybody."
The cause is being investigated.
