News Report: Arrest Made in Shooting Death at Mountain Crest Apartments
AJC article reports that Shaquell Heppard, 18, was charged with murder.
An 18-year-old has been charged with murder in the March 12 at the in unincorporated Stone Mountain, according to an article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The newspaper, citing DeKalb County jail records, reports that Shaquell Heppard was arrested Friday afternoon by DeKalb Sheriff's deputies.
Hickson, 21, was found by police in an apartment building breezeway; he'd been shot in the torso, according to the AJC, which also reported that Hickson was taken to DeKalb Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The AJC said a DeKalb County police officer said Hickson had been involved in an ongoing dispute with Heppard. The officer told the AJC that Heppard shot Hickson, then took off in a a silver Chevrolet Impala.
