Man Robbed at Knifepoint In Auto Parts Store Parking Lot

The incident took place at the O'Reilly Auto Parts parking lot on N. Hairston, according to the DeKalb county incident report.

A man told DeKalb County police that he was robbed at knifepoint of his wallet and other belongings in the parking lot of the O'Reilly Auto Parts store on N. Hairston Rd. in unincorporated Stone Mountain (the incident report lists the address as 956 N. Hairston, but the address is 921 N. Hairston).

The incident occurred Jan. 23 at 7:10 p.m. The victim was standing in the parking lot when the suspect approached him.

According to the report, the suspect pulled out a knife and pointed it at the victim's back, the report states. The suspect demanded the victim's wallet, then started to pat him down.

The suspect took the victim's wallet, which had in it a Mexican ID card, Georgia ID, and a Wells Fargo debit card, the report states.

The suspect then fled across N. Hairston Rd. into the woodline toward Anderson Road, the report states.
