Local Man Charged in Norcross-Area Murders

Vandara Nao of Stone Mountain has been charged with murder and aggravated assault.

Two men were shot and killed Friday evening at an apartment complex in unincorporated Norcross in what police believe may be a drug-related incident.

Gwinnett County Police were dispatched around to , located at 6069 S. Norcross Tucker Road, around 11:30 p.m. May 11, according to a press release from police spokesman Officer Jeffery Richter. When officers arrived near building 300, they noticed gunshot wounds to the two men, who died at the scene.

Vandara Nao, 21, of Stone Mountain, was found near the incident scene and has been arrested and charged with murder and aggravated assault.

A female also found near the scene was detained but not charged.

The investigation indicated the incident appears to be drug related, but details are still under investigation.

The identities of the victims are being withheld pending verification that next of kin have been notified.

They closed the comments on the other page so here goes. It is sad all the way around the board. Yes habin planned to rob javier and habins gun killed javier. Van killed habin protecting himself and his girl. Now three families are without their loved ones including children that will grow up without their fathers. Now this was set in motion by habin who killed a man. Why should he be spared?
