AJC.com reports that the Best Bank inside Kroger at 6678 Convington Highway in Lithonia was robbed Friday.

The Best Bank is situated in front of the store's busy checkout area.

The suspect robbed the bank around 3 p.m., according to the news outlet, citing the FBI. The suspect brought out a handgun and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Authorities released an image from the surveillance footage of the man.
