Iraq Veteran Moves from Lithonia Home After Mother's Day Burglary
The veteran and single mother started the moving process yesterday from her Marbut Road home, which has been struck three times since March, WSB reports.
An Iraq War veteran was in the process of moving out of her unincorporated Lithonia home after burglars hit one time too many, the latest on Mother's Day.
According to WSB TV, Quintana Ortiz, a single mother of two children, has been burglarized three times since March.
Through tears, Ortiz told the news outlet that she decided to move from the home she bought a few years ago in order to protect her chidren.

Burglars in the second incident ripped out her alarm; a witness to one burglary, one of Ortiz's neighbors, didn't call police, the report states.
