Man Points Gun at Woman at Gas Station

March 17 incident happened at a Chevron in nearby Lithonia.

A woman told DeKalb County police that she was sitting in her vehicle around 9 p.m. March 17 at the Chevron Station in the 5900 block of Covington Highway in Lithonia when the suspect, the front passenger of an older model green Ford Explorer, opened his door. In doing so, he struck the front passenger side of her vehicle, she told police.

The victim said she rolled down her window and told the suspect that he may have caused damage to her door.

The victim said that suspect became irate and pulled out a black semi-automatic handgun; he pulled the slide back and pointed it at her. The suspect then said "this not what you want b----" according to the victim.

The police report states that the vehicle drove away from the location.

Man's Taxes Filed by Someone Else

On March 7, the victim, of the 970 block of Mainstreet Lake Dr. in unincorporated Stone Mountain, called the Tucker precinct about filing a report in reference to tax fraud. The man said the week before, he went to file his taxes and was later told that someone had filed them in his name. The victim said the Internal Revenue Service later informed him to make a police report.

Water Meter Stolen

A man in the 1900 block of Scarbrough Dr. told DeKalb County police that an unknown subject stole the DeKalb County water meter from the address.
