The incident happened in the unincorporated Doraville area of Gwinnett County

An eight-year-old girl whose arm was stuck in a pool vacuum line for more than three hours was pulled out safely Tuesday night after 11 p.m., according to Gwinnett Fire & Emergency Services.

Lt. The firefighters were dispatched to the incident at 8:15 p.m.

“Crews acted quickly calling for the proper equipment and [helping] keep her up above the waterline,” Eberly said in a press release emailed at 12:06 a.m. Wednesday.
