Former NFL Player Arrested for Murder

Former NFL cornerback Glenn Sharpe is accused in the Feb. 20 murder of Christopher Galloway.

The DeKalb Sheriff’s Fugitive Squad arrested former NFL Cornerback Glenn Sharpe Thursday for the February 20, 2012 murder of Christopher Galloway.

The sheriff's office said Sharpe, 28, is accused of shooting Galloway three times during an altercation at 4571 Russwood Avenue in unincorporated Stone Mountain.

Sharpe was arrested at his home in Lawrenceville without incident and is being housed in the DeKalb County Jail, the sheriff's office said.
