Father Indicted in Crash That Killed Daughter

A man has been indicted on various charges, including vehicular homicide, in connection to a car wreck on U.S. 78 in which his daughter, a Stephenson High School student, was killed last summer.

AJC.com reports that among the charges against Anthony Johnson are two counts of first-degree vehicular homicide and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Police say Johnson was driving eastbound on Hwy. 78 last June west in a Chrysler Pacifica with his four children when he lost control of the car. He crashed into the wood line. Corliss Johnson was killed and her younger sister was seriously hurt.

Johnson and his two sons walked to a restaurant, where they sought help. 

According to the Facebook page "Remembering Corliss Johnson," the 15-year-old attended Princeton Elementary, Stephenson Middle and Stephenson High.
