Police say Benjamin Miller was arrested and charged for downloading child pornography.
A Doraville man appeared in court Friday on charges of sexual exploitation of children, according to police spokesperson Mekka Parish.
Benjamin Miller, 37, was arrested Thursday, Jan. 5 at his residence on Valley Bluff Drive following a proactive search by the DeKalb County Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit. He is being held on a $50,000 cash bond.
Parish said that detectives uncovered an extensive amount of downloaded videos and photos of child pornography during their investigation. Miller is described as "a self-employed photographer (who) photographs child models and helped build portfolios. Additionally, he developed and maintained several photography websites."
