A pooch named Rusty alerted a local homeowner to a fire in the house, WSB reports.
The rescue dog on Sunday awakened the homeowner, letting her know that something wasn't right several hours after the home off Hardwood Court in unincorporated Stone Mountain was struck by lightning.
