Bank Robbery on Main Street in Tucker

Suspect has been identified but remains at large.

A man robbed a bank on Tucker's Main Street Thursday afternoon and escaped before police arrived.

DeKalb County Police spokesperson Mekka Parish told Patch that the suspect produced a note indicating he was robbing the bank and implying he had a weapon. "The suspect grabbed money from some registers," she said. "He fled with an undetermined amount of money."

The robbery occurred at 1:25 p.m. at the RBC Bank, 2353 Main Street. The bank's manager, Ronnie Norris, declined a request from Patch for an interview. "We're not going to give out any information about what happened yesterday," he said.
