8 Armed Men Rob Stone Mountain Man

Recent incident occurred on Atlanta's westside.

Atlanta police report that a Stone Mountain man was carjacked on Atlanta’s westside early last Saturday morning by eight suspects all brandishing handguns.

According to Officer Kim Jones, the incident occurred at approximately 3 a.m. in a parking deck of an apartment complex located in the 1000 block of Huff Road off Howell Mill Road.

The victim told responding officers that he noticed a Champagne-colored Chrysler Van behind him as he drove into the parking deck. The van reportedly turned around and after the victim exited his vehicle, eight black men, all armed with handguns, emerged from the van and approached the man.

According to Jones, β€œthe suspects then threw [the man] to the ground and took his belt, credit cards and money from his pocket. The suspects then got back into the van, while one of the suspects stole the victim's vehicle.”

The suspects left the scene traveling west on Huff towards Marietta Boulevard.

There were video surveillance cameras on the parking deck, and one of the cameras was directly pointing towards the incident location.
