Stone Mountain Man Wins $278K Lottery Jackpot

A father of six claims his prize. He bought the winning ticket in Lithonia.

A DeKalb County man has won a $278,342 prize from the Georgia Lottery. Dennis Carlisle of Stone Mountain won the jackpot from matching all five winning numbers in the June 10 Fantasy 5 drawing.

Three Brothers Food Mart, 1544 Wellborn Road in Lithonia, sold him the winning Quik Pik ticket.

“I was very much surprised,” said Carlisle, 55. “I had to get my son. He looked at it, and I checked it again.” Winning numbers were: 5-10-29-30-32.

Carlisle and his wife, Doretha, have six children. What will he do with all that cash? “I’m going to pay off bills, including my car note, and set some aside,” he said.
