Local Seaman Pilots U.S. Navy Destroyer
The U.S. Navy has released a photo of a Stone Mountain native at work.
Seaman James Thomas, from Stone Mountain, pilots the ship on the bridge of the guided-missile destroyer USS Shoup.
Shoup is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
