Style is very individualized!

How do we define style? How do you make a decision on what's best for you? Find out here what fresche owner & member of the North American Artistic Team has to offer to help you find these answers.

When we think about style we often think of trends, or what is in and what is out.  Trends can be a style or "in style", but that doesn't always mean you have to follow them.  Style to me, is all about the individual and their personality.  To quote, Madonna "express yourself"!  What do you want to say about yourself?  What is important to you?  What characteristics are your assets, and what do we need to draw attention away from?  Those questions may be hard for you to answer yourself, if so, solicit advice or guidance from a professional. I have travelled globally working in the hair industry and have seen many shapes and forms of style.  Some of those trends do make their way to the South, but it takes time to finally become the latest fad here.  What I have learned from all of this experience is that we are different, and have our own unique style~  knowing when to update your look and make a change is the hardest question of all.  If you're  a risk taker, this isn't hard for you ~ you will make a big change or buy into the trend that's the latest.  If you're a bit more conservative or classic, this comes harder for you, and that's ok too.  An update on your haircut, a new bang, a slight colour placement change can be enough to give you that new edge you've been dying to try. The good news is, there are lots of options out there, and many ways to update your look, and there is no better time to try something new than the fall! One of my biggest inspirations are the colours & texture of the season. I will be blogging on many issues related to hair, make-up and style and welcome your feedback on topics you would like to hear more about.
