Talented Entertainment Duo films movie in and around Stone Mountain

Writer, Director and Producer Shaundraey Carmichael and her business partner Dominique Williams new film “The Games That Children Play” is filming in and around the Stone Mountain area. This fast paced horror, suspense, and mystery movie will be sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. This movie has been in production since the latter part of 2012 and will eventually wrap around early spring 2013.

Dominique Williams was born in Oakland, California, and Shaundraey Carmichael was born in Atlanta, Georgia. They met while attending North Atlanta High School of the Performing Arts in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2011, SBA Productions, owned by Dominique, and SEC Film Productions, owned by Shaundraey, were established; Dominique and Shaundraey have both collaborated on various projects over the past year. Their passion for writing, producing, and directing also takes them into the local community where they help talented youth, teens, and adults express themselves creatively in the film industry. Dominique and Shaundraey currently live and work in Atlanta, Georgia.

Film Synopsis: Rae has been experiencing troubling dreams and premonitions since her childhood. Lately, she has an overwhelming feeling to contact her adopted brother Ryan. After several failed attempts to reach Ryan, she and a group of friends are invited to a cabin in which a time of fun and games quickly turns into horror and suspense leading Rae to finally understand why she could not shake her strong desire to contact her brother.

When speaking with Ms. Carmichael, she says that “The film is going to be submitted to various film festivals. When asked why they chose a home in the Stone Mountain area to film some of the cabin scenes, she said “we chose Stone Mountain because it is a very natural scenic area and we thought it was a great choice to enhance the feel of the movie".

Expect some interresting things from this production. You never know who you will see.  :)
