Stone Mountain Rotary Club Meeting

The Rotary Club of Stone Mountain was originally chartered on May 12, 1965 with the charter presentation at a meeting held at the Plantation Restaurant on Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain on June 18 1965. On that date there were twenty-nine members in the club. The official meeting day and time was set as Tuesday, 12:15 p.m., which day and time is still being observed. The club was originally known as the Rotary Club of East DeKalb and was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Decatur. The East DeKalb name was changed to the Rotary Club of Stone Mountain on June 11, 1981. Today, the Rotary Club of Stone Mountain meets at the Smokerise Golf and Tennis Club, Stone Mountain, Georgia, Tuesday 12:15 p.m. ο»Ώ
