We invite you to join us and celebrate the work of the philanthropic, corporate and Safe Kids communities. Our annual awards breakfast, "Partners in Prevention", will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011 in the newly renovated Egyptian Ballroom at the Fabulous Fox Theatre. Co-hosted by Lori Geary, WSB-TV and Christi Paul, CNN, this event will include an awards presentation, live entertainment, an inspirational speaker, and a delicious breakfast by Affairs to Remember.

20 years ago, Safe Kids Georgia was established under the auspices of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and is dedicated to leading a statewide network in order to prevent unintentional injury, the No. 1 cause of death of children 14 and under. We bring together private and public, state and locatl organizations and individual volunteers to keep our kids safe in cars, on wheels, in water, and at home. With that goal in mind, statewide collaboration among coalitions and community partners allowed us to serve more than 50 counties, reaching over 50% of Georgia's children in 2010.
