"Take Me Away" Art Exhibit

 ART Station will be hosting a new exhibit of paintings by

local artist Pat Fiorello entitled “Take Me Away”. The show celebrates the

ability of art to take us away from the here and now and transport us somewhere

else.   The show runs January
18 through March 30, 2014.  On

Saturday January 25th from 7-9:30 PM, there will be an opening

reception where you can meet the artist. Fiorello, will also be available to

inscribe and sign copies of her newly released book, “Bella Italia, Italy

Through the Eyes of an Artist” during the reception.  The new book takes readers on a visual tour of Italy with

over 80 paintings by the artist. Several of the original paintings included in

the book will also be featured in the ART Station show.

place and time. Whether it’s an image of an enchanting faraway land or the
beauty of light illuminating a simple flower, viewing art can give us a
momentary escape from the stresses and reality of everyday life and take us to
a world of our feelings, longings and imagination” shared Fiorello.
