Planet Fitness, the innovative health club franchise known for its Judgement Free Zone® and affordable prices, is celebrating the grand opening of the Conyers club at 1680 J. Highway 138.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Tuesday, February 18 at 11:00 a.m. with the Conyers-Rockdale Chamber of Commerce. At the event, there will be bagels and coffee for members to enjoy. Additionally, now through February 28, members can join for just $1 down and then $10 a month.
Planet Fitness prides itself on offering an affordable membership and a Judgement Free Zone®, where members are welcomed by a comfortable, non-intimidating environment. Each club also features a “Lunk Alarm,” a purple and yellow siren on the wall used to enforce the policy of no grunting, dropping weights or judging others.
The Conyers Planet Fitness is 23,000 sq. feet and will offer brand new cardio machines, new fully equipped locker rooms with day lockers and showers, 2 massage chairs*, 25 flat screen flat screen televisions, a 30-minute express circuit and 12 minute ab-circuit, 4 Hydro-massage beds*, 1 tanning booth*, 2 tanning beds* and 1 Total Body Enhancement booths*. The club will be open 24 hours Monday through Friday, and 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Membership includes a variety of other benefits, including unlimited small group fitness instruction by a certified trainer through the pe @ pf ® program. In addition, as a member appreciation gesture, Planet Fitness provides free pizza on the first Monday of every month, and free bagels on the second Tuesday of every month, while supplies last.
