LITHONIA, GA – On Saturday, December 8, Congressman Hank Johnson is hosting his second community event of 2012 to help struggling homeowners avoid foreclosure.

In conjunction with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs’ HomeSafe Georgia program and certified housing counselors the D&E Group, Rep. Johnson is holding the free event to help struggling homeowners.

The event will also provide opportunities for homeowners to meet with counselors to see if they are eligible for a loan modification. To pre-qualify and to register, participants can call D&E at 770-961-6900 or visit their Web site at depower.org.
