Emergency Preparedness Festival

The 3rd Biennial DeKalb County Emergency Preparedness Festival is slated for Saturday, Sept. 21, at North DeKalb Mall, 2050 Lawrenceville Highway in Decatur. The festival will be inside near the food court from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Created as a festival the whole family can enjoy, festivalgoers will see presentations and displays on family and neighborhood disaster response and fire safety and crime prevention. There also will be information about how to care for pets during a crisis. Adults and children can participate in interactive displays and be eligible for door prizes.
