[Video] Raising Money to Attend Friend's Funeral in Mississippi
Friends were on Redan and S. Hairston Wednesday collecting funds.
Jazzmyn Mitchell and Takara Walton were among a handful of people Wednesday collecting money at S. Hairston and Redan to pay for a charter bus to attend the funeral of slain l alum Nolan Ryan Henderson. He was a freshman at Jackson State University in Mississippi.
The young women said they were friends of Henderson, known as Ryan, who was shot and killed Sunday in Jackson.
