Dicks was disbarred for abandoning a client, according to ajc.com. The article said the Georgia Supreme Court made the decision Tuesday.
According to the article, the Supreme Court said in an opinion that Dicks in 2007 did not file a lawsuit on behalf of a client until after the statute of limitations for filing, in early 2008, and has paid only a portion of restitution.
