Report: State Supreme Court Reinstates Woman's Vehicular Homicide Conviction for 2009 Incident at Princeton Elementary

Shirley Ogilvie was convicted of striking and killing a 7-year-old on his way to Princeton Elementary School.

According to an article on Ajc.com, the Georgia Supreme Court on Monday reinstated a woman's vehicular homicide conviction for hitting and killing 7-year-old Kameron Dunmore with her SUV three years ago as the student was walking in the crosswalk toward Princeton Elementary School, located at 1321 South Deshon Rd. in Lithonia.

Shirley Ogilvie, of Snellville, according to news outlets, was convicted of two misdemeanors.

The state's highest court determined the Court of Appeals to be in error when it overturned the conviction, Ajc.com reported.
