Mama Bird - Athens Patch
Leigh Hewatt's opinion piece about the actress Alicia Silverstone's recently posted video on her blog has certainly gotten some attention! Called The Kind Life, she transfers chewed up food open-mouth to her 11-month-old baby and describes how much her son Bear Blu enjoys being fed mouth to mouth.
As Leigh says "reactions ranged from disgusted, supportive, to downright concerned for the health of her child."

The Norcross Arts Alliance held where anyone could come to crochet and knit something for yarn-bombing day.
On March 31, the ladies from the classes set to work on the town with their needles and yarn. Others who hadn't attended the classes also contributed work to the streetscape, too.
The work will be up during the entire month of April. Some of the more notable pieces of the day include a crocheted wedding dress in city hall, the frogs in Thrasher Park and the bench at the Norcross Garden Club. For a full recap of the day, check out the video attached to this article.
Atlanta Braves Get Rain-Shortened Win at Coolray - Suwanee Patch
Updated April 4
"We're not pretty," Atlanta Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez said of his team before Tuesday's exhibition game at Coolray Field. "We're like hyenas -- they hunt in packs."
Not pretty would describe Atlanta's 4-3 victory Tuesday. The parent club, which opens its season Thursday in New York, had to come from behind to lead the Future Stars team of minor leaguers. Then the rain that had been falling intensified in the seventh, forcing play to be called.
A record Coolray Field crowd of 10,568 watched the game, which included legendary former Manager Bobby Cox leading the Future Stars.
