The Stone Mountain Woman's Club's "Home Made Desserts" tent at the Yellow Daisy Festival attracted lots of visitors the very first day of the four-day event, which started Thursday and ends tomorrow, Sept. 11.
The location is ideal (right near the festival entrance), the ladies' Southern hospitality is welcoming, and the food they are selling satisfies the sweet tooth: yummy goods such as cakes and pies.
Proceeds from the sale and from the club's cookbook, "Daisy Delights: Volume Two" support its efforts throughout the year.
The ladies said among the most popular sellers are the French coconut pie, heavenly hash and carrot cake. Every item sells for $3.
