It's Spring Break!

Welcome to another week! Here are five things you should know:

1. The obvious: It's Spring Break for DeKalb County school children. Whether you're traveling or enjoying a "staycation," have fun and stay safe.

2. Free Spring Break Activities: Check out the lineup of fun at Hairston Crossing Library this week. Also see what's going on this week at the Stone Mountain-Sue Kellogg and Redan-Trotti branches.

3. Patch Readers Choice Poll: Coming up Monday, April 2, vote for best tax preparer in Stone Mountain. You'll have until 9 a.m. Friday, April 6 to vote, so please, spread the word! The winner gets a Patch certificate and bragging rights.

4.This week's weather: Looks gorgeous, with highs ranging from lower to upper 80s Monday through Wednesday. There's a 30 percent chance of rain Tuesday and Wednesday and a 50 percent chance Thursday. Highs are expected to be upper 70s Thursday and Friday.

5. Meeting: The Stone Mountain city council meets Tuesday, April 3, 7:30 p.m.
