DeKalb Commissioners Approve Greater Hidden Hills Overlay District

Community's effort began in 2007.

The DeKalb Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the Greater Hidden Hills Overlay District Tuesday night.

The board's OK brings an end to a process that began in the community in 2007.

Organizers say the overlay district will set standards for new commercial development in the area, preserve the green space on the closed Hidden Hills golf course, and improve transit for vehicles, pedestrians and people on bikes.
