JUNE 14

Name and location: Deli King, 1241 Panola Road, Suite F

Score: 94/A

Previous scores: 93/A on Aug. 18, 2010 and 86/B on Feb. 3, 2010

Violations cited in the report: The current inspection report wasn't posted close enough to the walk up. Shelves in side a cooler were rusted. A wall close to the back hand sink was splattered.

Name and location: Cajuns Best Po Boys, 4091 Redan Road, Suite A-1

Score: 99/A

Previous scores: NA

Violations cited: Floor tiles were missing at meat and vegetable sink are. There were no base boards at one sink area. 

JUNE 8

Name and location: Le Soul Restaurant and Catering, 6254 A and B, Memorial Drive.

Score: 93/A (follow-up inspection)

Previous scores:  0/NA on May 31, 2011, 55/U on May 25, 2011

Violations cited: Drawer handles where equipment and utensils are stored were unclean. Employees' personal belongings weren't stored in the proper area.

 

Name and location: Dippin Dots, Cart #2 (Cross Roads), Stone Mountain Park

Score: 94/A

Previous scores: 90/A on June 11, 2010 and 97/A on Aug. 15, 2009

Violations cited: A sanitizing solution was stored next to popcorn in bags. Cups and lids were stored on a countertop without plastic wraps or dispenser. There was undisposed trash in the unit. 

JUNE 6

Name and location: China Restaurant, 961 North Hairston Road, Suite B-2

Score: 88/B (Follow-up inspection)

Previous scores: 0/NA May 10, 2011, 71/C on april 25, 2011

Violations cited: Raw beef and chicken were stored uncovered in a freezer. Walk-in cooler shelves were dirty with food accumulation.  Food wasn't labeled that wasn't stored in original containers. Flies were ins the main kitchen area. 

JUNE 3

Name and location: Big Rock Cafe, Stone Mountain Park

Score: 91/A

Previous scores: 88/B on Dec. 3, 2010 and 88/B on April 7, 2010. 

Violations cited: A chemical sanitizer was stored with disposable cups and cutlery. Disposable cups and plates were stored unprotected in the front service area and the rear storage area.  A countertop at the front service area was dirty with food debris. There was no trash can and sanitary container in the unisex restroom. Lights weren't shielded or shatterproof in areas around food, equipment utensils, lens or unwrapped single-service items.
