Stone Mountain Park Breaks Ground on Geyser Towers

New attraction set to open in in spring 2012.

The heavy equipment came in Monday to start clearing the way for , Stone Mountain Park's newest attraction due to open spring 2012.

The location of Geyser Towers, adjacent to Sky Hike in the Crossroads area, will create quite the fun spot at the activity-filled park.

Geyser Towers' construction will be the second installation of its kind in the world and the only one in North America to integrate water features, according to the park: It said the other similar structure is at Sea World Australia but doesn't include water.

Stone Mountain Park said the project is estimated to cost just under $1 million to complete.
