Readers' Choice: Best Preschool in Stone Mountain - Mount Carmel Christian Church

Congratulations to the preschool program at , which . Stone Mountain-Redan Patch thanks everyone for participating in the poll and wishes all the preschools the very best!

It had been a very, very close race.

For a while, and were neck-and-neck in our Readers' Choice poll.

In fact, they were tied at certain points yesterday and even earlier this morning (Friday) before the poll ended at 9 a.m.

Parents with children at both preschools posted lovely comments and reviews on Patch, with Kids R Kids parents posting the most comments.

Avery's Mom wrote: Kids R Kids has been an absolute blessing for my 4-year old! They are caring and keep her engaged with great fun activities and exceptional teaching. The pre-K program is much better than a previous one she attended in the area, my daughter is doing multiplication, division, reading and sight words! I love the diversity of the school as well.

Of Mount Carmel, Boy Mom wrote: Mount Carmel Christian School Pre-School is concerned with the whole child, physical, academic, and spiritual. I cannot imagine sending him anywhere else. They also have great facilities, teachers, administration, and staff.

By the time voting ended, things weren't so close anymore. Votes for Mount Carmel had 70 votes, or 58 percent, while Kids R Kids had 50 votes, or 36 percent.
