Local Organic Grocer Finding Success Online

CID-based Nature's Garden Delivered provides organic produce, grocery services.

Local entrepreneurs offering a new approach to organic grocery shopping are the latest example of business success in the Stone Mountain Community Improvement District (CID).

Nature's Garden Delivered has launched its online grocer / organic produce business from a facility on South Bibb Drive. The company seeks to provide easy access to local grocery items, including free-range eggs, sustainably raised meats, farm-fresh dairy and local breads.

Co-founders Michael Kirk and Scott Frishman said they are building a company offering support to the growing numbers of farmers and producers practicing sustainable agriculture. Both worked for an organic produce company in Colorado before coming to the Atlanta area to found Nature’s Garden Delivered.

“Food co-ops are impacting the way Americans eat; they are also helping to educate people about the importance of food that is locally grown,” Frishman said. “It is our hope that organic farming will become the leading form of agriculture.”

“The CID works to raise property values for our stakeholders, and that includes attracting dynamic businesses to fill available spaces,” Morsberger said. “We are excited to see what Nature's Garden Delivered and all of our new and existing commercial property owners are doing in our community.”
