About the job/qualifications:

  • Demonstrates enthusiasm for working with Pre-K students
  • Works with parents/guardians in all aspects of the student’s educational program
  • Bachelor’s degree from a Professional Standards Commission approved accredited college or university required. Degree in one of the following:
  • Bachelor in Early childhood 
  • Bachelor in elementary education
  • Bachelor in Child Development/Family and Consumer Sciences
  • Bachelor in psychology or social work (not sociology) PLUS one of the following:
  • Associate degree in Early Childhood Education,
  • a Montessori diploma (for approved Montessori Curriculum sites)
  • a valid, nationally recognized Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
  • An education/child development related field documented by an official transcript from the college/university (15 semester hours / 25 quarter hours of early childhood education coursework is the minimum to qualify as related field)

2. Facility director, permanent part-time, Stone Mountain. Company not listed on Department of Labor site.

Salary: $9/hour

About the job/qualifications:

  • Ability to successfully lead and manage people
  • Great organizational skills
  • Ability to learn and operate computer software systems
  • 24 months experience
  • 12 years education
  • Prefer at least a two year degree or equivalent experience

Salary: $11.10-$12.50/hour

About the job/qualifications:

  • Required: Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ideal: Laboratory experience or previous coursework in Microbiology, Food Science, or Biology
  • Read plates and tubes, as required, to determine the number of organisms in the sample. Record findings on worksheet for verification
  • Write identification onto plates so that client and sample number can be tracked, and more

What: The Berean Christian Church & Veterans Career Expo.

When: Thursday, October 18, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Kerwin B. Lee Family Life Center at Berean Christian Church, 2197 Young Rd., Stone Mountain.
